More experienced weavers can use smaller reed and a more complex color design – novice weavers can use simpler

Square basket approx. 8x8x6 (can be modified} on a solid slotted wood base .

Simple start-stop weaving or continuous twill weave can create a “stair step” color effect on the sides of the basket. While natural reed will
be used, there will be several color options available for both novice and more advanced weavers.

everyone should bring (if you can) :
measuring tape or small ruler, pencil,
sharp scissors, 4-5 clothespins, and an
old towel/rag you dont mind getting
stained. Other tools will be available as
needed. If you have your own tools please bring them!
