Wednesday, March 5^th 1:00 p.m. in the Imagine Arts Studio Basket making class with resident Carla Smith Introduction to basketry class: want to try basket weaving? This class is a very basic beginner pattern (approximately 5w x7 long x 5h ) made with flat reed, open weave base, and a matchstick border. Made with mostly natural reed, there will be several accent colors to choose from. Please (if you can) bring a measuring tape or small ruler, pencil, sharp scissors, 4-5 clothespins, and an old towel/rag you don’t mind getting stained. Other tools will be available as
