MLK Day of Service
The Franklin County Coalition for Progress (FCCP) is organizing the 5th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Day of Service in Franklin County on the national holiday, observing it as “a day on, not a day off.”
MLK Day of Service is a rewarding way for families, friends, neighbors and colleagues to make a lasting impact on their community in the spirit of Dr. King’s vision of the Beloved Community.
This event is free and open to the community. Please join us! We encourage all ages to participate; Kids under 18 should sign up to volunteer with a parent/guardian/family member.
While the event is free, registration is required.

We will be serving at
Branch Creek Senior Center Shippensburg – painting 15 people max
The Mental Health Association Chambersburg -organizing and sorting 4 people
New Life Thrift Shop Chambersburg -sorting and organizing and cleaning 4 people
The Chambersburg Community Theatre-organizing and painting 2 people
