Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania and Lunch

All aboard! Join us for a special Saturday excursion to the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. This trip is perfect for train enthusiasts, featuring the museum’s annual Model Railroading Days event. You will get to see a massive world of miniature, operating model train displays brought in by regional groups, all running simultaneously alongside the museum’s permanent historic locomotives.
Our group will be met for a short introductory tour then will be free to explore the museum.
Mobility Note: This outing involves walking to view the model displays, as well as climbing into vintage railcars and navigating narrow aisles during the tour. Please wear comfortable, sturdy walking shoes.
Meet to leave the Museum at 2PM

To refuel after our train adventure, we will be stopping for lunch at The Speckled Hen in historic Strasburg! This charming, contemporary cafe is celebrated for its cozy atmosphere and delicious, farm-to-table lunch menu featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, craft coffee, and scratch-made comfort food.
