Stained Glass with Chris Parker

Stained Glass Workshop:
Bee Hexagon, Hummingbird, Cardinal, 2D Flower, 3D flower OR 7”x9” flag
Join stained glass artist Chris Parker for a hands-on class where you’ll create your very own stained glass project!
Using the copper foil method, you’ll learn every step of the process — from choosing glass to assembling to soldering — and complete your project by the end of class to take home and enjoy.
Project options:
Bee Hexagon (Beginner-Friendly):
Perfect for newcomers to glass art or those looking for an easier project. The hexagons are pre-cut for a precise fit — you’ll choose 7 glass hexagons in your favorite colors and finish your piece with a charming bee accent.
Cardinal, Hummingbird, 2D Flower (Basic to Intermediate):
If you’d like to try your hand at cutting glass or love the look of a vibrant bee or flower, this project is for you.
3D Flower (Advanced – requires at least one previous class with Chris Parker)
Take your stained glass skills to the next level with this dynamic 3D Flower design. Building on techniques learned in earlier classes—cutting, grinding, and foiling—you’ll expand your craftsmanship by creating a dimensional piece that truly stands out.
You’ll be introduced to working with a jig to assemble and shape your flower and stem, adding structure, depth, and sculptural impact to your work. Perfect for students ready to challenge themselves, this class transforms foundational skills into a striking three-dimensional creation.
7”x9” Flag or 7”x9” Shell/Beach Scene
(Advanced – requires at least one previous class with Chris Parker)
This design is based upon feedback from recent class participants. It is a larger project (7”x9”) and will take 2-3 sessions to complete. It builds on your skills that you have learned thus far (cutting curves and straights) but adds more/larger pieces and a frame.
You will complete as much as you can in the 1st class, returning in June, July to finish as needed. You will reserve your spot in each class separately and I will secure your pieces from class to class.
You’ll select your project when you arrive.
All supplies and expert instruction are included.
