State Museum of Pennsylvania and Lunch at The Watershed Pub
Our trip begins a The State Museum of Pennsylvania in downtown Harrisburg. As the official museum of the Commonwealth, it houses vast collections that showcase the state’s pivotal role in American History – from the Civil War era to the industrial age. You will have plenty of time to view the iconic historical exhibits, the monumental William Penn memorial statue, and the famous foundational murals.
Following our museum tour, we will head over to downtown Camp Hill for lunch at The Watershed Pub. Famously known as the very first pub in Camp Hill Borough since prohibition, this restaurant serves a spectacular from-scratch menu focusing on sustainable, locally sourced ingredients. The pub itself is housed in an early 19th-century building, allowing us to dine surrounded by beautifully preserved historic architecture.
