Wednesday, April 23, we will be visiting The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. This displays thousands of aviation and space artifacts, including the Space Shuttle Discovery, a Blackbird SR-71, and a Concorde, in two large hangars.

Our fellow resident Chuck Aston will be our tour guide.  He was a docent at the Center for many years. We will have lunch there.

Pick up times are NG 9:30 a.m.  9:35 Life Center and 9:45 a.m. CP Renn.  The cost will be $30 per person which is just to cover the transportation.

Food: We are very pleased to offer food service in the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center with a Shake Shack restaurant, open from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekdays, until 5:00 pm on weekends. The restaurant will serve all the Shake Shack favorites including burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, fries, frozen custard, shakes, and coffee. That includes two Udvar-Hazy exclusives, the Constellation Crunch Concrete and Out of This World Shake. In addition, pre-packaged salads and sandwiches are available as a quick pick option.
