Uncover Your Roots: A Genealogy Workshop at Coyle Free Library

Have you ever wondered about the stories hidden in your family tree? Join us for a special hands-on session at the beautiful Coyle Free Library here in downtown Chambersburg!
Whether you are just starting your search or have hit a “brick wall” in your research, this is the perfect opportunity to get expert guidance.
Our session will begin with a focused 20-minute instructional presentation where a librarian will demonstrate how to effectively navigate the library’s specialized databases. Following the introduction librarians will be circulating to provide one-on-one assistance.
Located in the historic former Post Office building, the Coyle Free Library houses a premier Genealogy Center. Their specialized staff and digital access make it one of the best locations in Franklin County to trace your lineage and discover your heritage.
The majority of their “on-hand” materials are from Pennsylvania and parts of Maryland however, they will assist with online searches from other states.
NOTE: Please bring any known names, dates, or locations of ancestors you are currently researching to help maximize your time with the experts.
