After a short plane ride\, you will take the leap over Lancaster County. With nearly 50 seconds of freefall\, and a 5 minute parachute ride\, you will land safely right in front of your friends and family. A tandem jump is a great way to experience the thrill of skydiving while under close supervision of an experienced Instructor. \nOnly 2 spots left! \n**Must be able to elevate your feet from a seated position for 30 seconds** \n**Must be able to be on your knees for several minutes** \nhttps://www.skydivemspc.com/ \nCONSIDERATIONS WHEN DECIDING WHERE TO SKYDIVE\nThere is more than pricing to consider when choosing where to skydive. Maytown Sport Parachute Club has been proudly\, and safely skydiving for over 50 years in Central Pennsylvania. MSPC is a club and not a commercial dropzone\, which means they care more about creating amazing experiences than making a profit. Their tandem passengers get much more personalized training than most skydiving facilities. Our instructors will take the time to get to know you prior to the jump\, and they will work with you from the moment you arrive\, until you’re on the way home. \nSafety is their #1 concern\, so they align themselves with USPA by being a group member dropzone. The USPA (United States Parachute Association) is the regulatory body for the sport. The USPA sets stringent safety requirements for all of its member dropzones\, but it isn’t mandatory for skydiving centers to be part of the USPA. This is important\, because non-USPA skydive centers can set their own rules\, and they don’t think that’s a great idea. \nNot sure what to make about all of this? They are open every weekend (weather permitting) from 10am-sunset\, so feel free to stop out and see them in action. DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, September 24\, 2026 \nTour the Hagerstown Aviation Museum and Lunch at the Grille at Runways  \n \nThe Hagerstown Aviation Museum is dedicated to preserving and presenting over 100 years of the region’s aviation heritage. Over the past 29 years\, the museum has grown from a concept to the world’s largest collection of historic Fairchild aircraft. Some of the museum’s 25 aircraft include the 1919 Bellanca CE\, 1928 Kreider-Reisner KR-31\, 1933 Fairchild 22\, 1939 Fairchild 24\, 1942 Fairchild PT-26\, 1943 Fairchild PT-19\, 1947 Fairchild XNQ\, 1948 Fairchild C-82A\, 1953 Fairchild C-119G Flying Boxcar\, 1956 Fairchild C-123K Provider\, 1959 Fairchild F-27 and more. The museum’s archive has also grown to include over ten thousand photographs and thousands of artifacts\, models\, personal items\, films\, and works of art. \nOur tour will be two hours.
