February 6, 2026

Mean Girls
 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Simon Theatre, Burgin Center for the Arts – Mercersburg Academy

Mean Girls, the brutally hilarious musical from book writer Tina Fey, lyricist Nell Benjamin, and composer Jeff Richmond, was adapted from Fey’s hit 2004 film by the same name and took Broadway by storm, earning 12 Tony Award nominations.

Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady devises a plan to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a queen bee without getting stung.

Presented by Mercersburg’s Stony Batter Players.

Ned & Nancy See America

A brand-new RV. A cross-country itinerary. A couple married 40 years. What could go wrong? For the newly retired Ned and his wife Nancy, a celebratory cross-country road trip turns into a comedy of errors: a hot air balloon ride gone wrong, an encounter with a biker gang, an Amish stowaway, a mugging in DC and many other twists and turns down the road. Ned and Nancy end up seeing way more of America than postcards could ever begin to describe.

Written by Martha Bolton, this brand-new show from Blue Gate Musicals combines stunning American scenery with lessons in patience, poignant moments, “Golden Oldies” on the radio and a surprise ending you won’t want to miss.

2 married people. 1 RV. 50 states. It all adds up to 1 riotous road trip.
