Monday, June 24th– Kayaking at Cowan’s Gap State Park, Bus departs –Northgate at 9:45 a.m., Upper Level of Life Center at 9:50 a.m., Chambers Pointe Renaissance, at 10:00 a.m.

We will stop for lunch after at the Milky Way.  Dress accordingly to be near water. Be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, water shoes and a towel.  A change of clothes might be best just in case. This is weather dependent.

To cure his “blues,” a lonely man (played by yours truly) puts on the original cast album of one of his favorite musicals from 1928. As he does, the musical springs to life in his apartment. Will Janet marry Robert and quit the biz? Will Adolpho win Janet’s heart before she says “I do?” Will the Chaperone stay sober? Find out in this hilarious love letter to musical comedy. RATED: PG-13

Minor League Baseball has returned to Hagerstown, Md.  The newly built Meritus Stadium is home to the Flying Box Cars. We have 10 seats available in baseline box 205 for the 11 AM game on July 31st.

Due to popular demand, we’ve purchased a second adjoining box and have an additional 10 seats available

Fall Foliage Train Ride Hanover Junction Flyer

This 2.5 hour train excursion departs out of the New Freedom station.

We hope to experience the beautiful Fall Foliage that only central pa can provide.

We will board The Overland Trail Car, built by the Pullman Standard Car Manufacturer Co, in 1949.

This is a private club car!

This club car lounger was first owned by Southern Pacific Railroad, then Amtrak. It features a streamline, moderne design, a 1/4 bar and a barbershop.

We board the train at 11:30 in route to Hanover Junction for a short 20 min layover then a return trip back to New Freedom Station, when box lunches will be served to our guests(provided by culinary)

Water and lite snacks will be provided on the train and the bar will be open to purchase any adult beverages.

$75 per person with limit of 32 seats on the Overland Trail Car. There is a possibility, depending on interest, of obtaining the 2nd car in the Trail Sisters, The Pacific Trail. I need to let them know by July 6th, if i need the second car.

New Hope Bus Trip Nov 7-8

We will be offering a trip to New Hope, Pa this fall.

The above link should give you everything you need but should you have any questions please feel free to contact me.  Please be advised that some of these areas and the bus are not ADA friendly so you will need to be able to do stairs to go on this trip.

Also, the one castle Fonthill has uneven steps and pathways at times so please keep this in mind.   

We need to have 35 people to be able to make this trip happen.

A deposit of $100 per person will be due at time of sign up to secure your seat let us know if you DO NOT want it taken from your resident account. 

The final payment is due September 9th.
